PawKita Privacy Policy

PawKita is an offline-first cat health tracker. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data when you use the app.

What we collect

Nothing. PawKita does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on any server. Everything you enter — cat profiles, health records, photos, and notes — stays on your own device. The app does not require an account, a login, or an internet connection to work.

Backups

• When you export a backup, it is saved as a file on your own device (or wherever you choose to save it). We never receive a copy.
• Restoring a backup reads the file directly from your device — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

App permissions

PawKita may ask for the following permissions. Each is used only for the feature it supports, and none of them send data anywhere:

• Notifications — to remind you about upcoming or overdue health events.
• Photos / Camera — to attach a photo to a cat profile or a note.
• Storage — to save and load your backup files.

Children

PawKita is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone — because it does not collect information from anyone, full stop.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date above will change, and the new version will be posted at this same address.
